PHoto 1This photo was taken for the "Line and Shape" assignment. What I like about this photo is the sharpness and angle. My point of view was from below from the building; therefore this image was captured at an upward angle. The photo uses positive space (the building) and negative space (the sky). The depth of field is large. The ISO was at a low setting of 100 and the white balance was set according to the sunny setting. |
PHOTO 2I selected this photo because of the pattern of the shells and the usage of a shallow depth of field. Compositionally, there is texture and repetition because of the shells and because of their pattern. To take this photo I had the camera's ISO at about 800 and with a shallow depth of field/ aperture of f4. |
PHOTO 3Looking at this photo, the compositional elements that are most apparent are rhythm and pattern: your eye follows the dice as the fall. Also, the dice show sharp lines and diagonals. When I edited this photo, I adjusted the exposure and the sharpness. The camera was set to a shutter speed of 1/125 . |
