- I like the photo with the shallow depth of field better because it has more character and it gives your eye something to focus on.
Why would you want to use a shallow depth of field?
- To focus on a subject. (A person, an on object, etc... something that is of importance to the piece).
When/in what situation would a large depth of field be better?
- When you want to focus on the photo as a whole, rather than one part of the photo in particular.
